Christmas Workshops

Workshops are a little different than the regular classes. We will all be making the same thing. This time it is these really awesome jelly bean-shaped animal pillows. They are made from minky fabric which makes them so soft. They end up quite large (you can kind of tell by the 1″ squares on the green mat). Students must have some prior sewing experience for this workshop (be comfortable with a sewing machine and know how to sew a straight seam).

Beginner Classes

Beginner students have little to no sewing experience.

Beginners will complete a pillowcase, a drawstring bag, and a quilted pillowcase before moving on to projects of their choice (with teacher approval).

Advanced Beginner

Advanced beginners have had some experience with a sewing machine.  These students would know how to thread a sewing machine and sew straight seam.  They might have a few projects under their belt but want to gain more skills.

Advanced beginners can choose their own projects to work on after consulting with the teacher.
